GTK 4 is approaching rapidly. Although it still hasn’t seen a stable release, the builds do compile, and I’m eager to try out the new features, most of which have already been implemented. At first attempt, I tried to install everything into /usr/local
. Turned out not to be such a good idea. Now I’ll try to install GTK 4 using the package manager.

The build scripts are minimally modified versions of the official build scripts for older versions and, in my opinion, do not constitute a valuable contribution.
